TO 9:00 P.M. FOR THE "SPECIAL OLYMPICS ROAD RACE" SPONSORED BY THE SPORTS BARN AND SPECIAL OLYMPICS UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized the temporary closing of 3rd Street between Market Street and Chestnut Street, the temporary closing of the northbound curb lane of Chestnut Street between 3rd Street and Riverfront Parkway, the temporary closing of the eastbound curb lane of Riverfront Parkway between Chestnut Street and Lookout Street, the temporary closing of the traffic lane closest to the west curb of Lookout Street between Riverfront Parkway and 5th Street, the temporary closing of the traffic lane closest to the north curb lane of 5th Street between Lookout Street and Market Street, the temporary closing of the northbound curb lane of Market Street between 5th Street and Frazier Avenue, the temporary closing of the eastbound curb lane of Frazier Avenue from Market Street to Tampa Street, the temporary closing of the ramp to Veterans Bridge from Frazier Avenue, the temporary closing of the southbound curb lane of the Veterans Bridge from Frazier Avenue to Georgia Avenue, the temporary closing of the southbound curb lane of Georgia Avenue between the Veterans Bridge and M. L. King Boulevard, the temporary closing of the westbound curb lane of M. L. King Boulevard between Georgia Avenue and Market Street, the temporary closing of the northbound curb lane of Market Street between M. L. King Boulevard and 3rd Street on Thursday, May 28, 1992, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the presentation of "Special Olympics Road Race" under the sponsorship of the Sports Barn and the Special Olympics provided that the sponsor shall set out traffic cones, flasher barricades, and warning signs in accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
